The owner of the electrical installation must ensure its proper use, including timely audits. The purpose of the audit is to assess the safety of the electrical installation and, if necessary, its compliance with statutory requirements. An audit must be conducted in each electrical installation before its commissioning and at prescribed intervals and frequencies after commissioning. Based on this, the audit is divided into pre-commissioning, routine, and emergency audits.
The electrical installation may be commissioned if it has passed the pre-commissioning audit and an audit certificate has been issued for the electrical installation.
An emergency audit is conducted if the owner, user, or maintenance manager of the electrical installation deems it necessary for safety purposes or if required by the national supervisory authority.
